Alejandra Ternero is a Neurofeedback Technician and Outreach Coordinator at Healthy Within. She is currently pursuing her BS in Biology with a minor in Cognitive Science at UC San Diego, expecting to graduate in June 2027. Her strong academic foundations in neuroscience, cognitive behavioral psychology, and human physiology have led her to a passion for mental health and servitude in her community.

 

Alejandra aspires to attend medical school and become a neurologist. Through her work at Healthy Within, she continues to learn about the way the brain functions and fosters her interest in neuroscience.  Healthy Within has been an incredible opportunity to not only expand her skillset, but also deepen her understanding of patient care, strengthen her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and witness the positive impact that compassionate, individualized care can have on people’s lives.

 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Alejandra enjoys cooking, listening to music, and going to the beach, especially to watch the sunset. She loves trying new recipes in her spare time, and  values these hobbies as a way to relax and stay grounded with the people and places she loves.
